Poopy Support

How can we help?

Get help with logging, photos, Personal Pattern, Vet Reports, your account, and using Poopy.

How Poopy works

Useful history starts with ordinary observations.

You do not need to interpret every stool or know what caused a change. Poopy is built around consistently recording what you observe.

01

Log

Save a bowel movement, photo, stool observations, and any useful context.

02

Learn

Over time, Poopy can learn what has been typical in your dog’s own recorded history.

03

Notice

When something changes, Poopy can help place the new observation in the context of that history.

04

Share

Keep the history organized so it is easier to review or share when a veterinary conversation happens.

Logging & photos
What should I record? +

Record what you can directly observe. This can include stool consistency, color, visible appearance, timing, photos, symptoms, food or treat changes, medications, supplements, and other context you think may be useful later.

Do I need to take a photo every time? +

No. Photos can provide useful visual history, but Poopy is designed to support both photo-based and manually entered observations.

What if Poopy gets an observation wrong? +

You should be able to correct your saved observations. Your correction takes priority over an automated visual observation while the original processing history can remain preserved behind the scenes.

Personal Pattern
What is Personal Pattern? +

Personal Pattern uses your dog’s own qualifying logged history as the reference point. It is designed to help show what has been typical for your dog and provide context when later observations differ.

Is Personal Pattern a health score? +

No. Personal Pattern is not a health score, diagnosis, or universal normal range. It describes patterns in your dog’s recorded history.

Why does Poopy need multiple observations first? +

A useful personal pattern requires enough history across enough time to avoid treating one or two observations as your dog’s established baseline. Poopy may remain in a learning phase until enough qualifying history exists.

Vet Reports
What does a Poopy Vet Report contain? +

A Vet Report can organize saved observations, chronology, stool information, photos or visual notes, symptoms, context, and other recorded history into a format that is easier to review.

Does the Vet Report diagnose my dog? +

No. Vet Reports organize owner-logged observations and related history. They do not establish a diagnosis, determine a cause, or replace veterinary care.

Can I share a report with my veterinarian? +

Yes. The purpose of the report is to make your saved history easier to review and, when useful, share with your veterinary team.

Account & privacy
How do I ask a privacy question? +

Email hello@poopyapp.com. Include enough information for us to understand and respond to your request, but do not email sensitive information that is not necessary.

How do I request deletion of my account or data? +

If account deletion is not available directly inside the app, email hello@poopyapp.com from the email associated with your account and tell us you want to request deletion.

Where can I read the Privacy Policy? +

You can review the Poopy Privacy Policy at poopyapp.com/privacy.

Technical help
What should I do if something is not working? +

First confirm you are using the latest available version of Poopy, close and reopen the app, and check your internet connection if the feature requires one. If the problem continues, contact support.

What should I include in a bug report? +

Tell us what you were trying to do, what you expected to happen, what happened instead, and which device and app version you were using. A screenshot can help when it does not contain information you would prefer not to email.

Where should I send technical questions? +

Send them to hello@poopyapp.com.

Veterinary care

Poopy support cannot evaluate a medical emergency.

If you are concerned about your dog’s health, symptoms, possible toxin exposure, foreign-object ingestion, severe pain, repeated vomiting or diarrhea, blood, marked lethargy, or another urgent change, contact your veterinarian or an emergency veterinary clinic.

Poopy does not diagnose medical conditions or replace veterinary care.
